Pont Picot lies on the banks of the Canal Nivernais and River Yonne and a few minutes walk along the river to the centre of Clamecy.

The house can sleep up to 4 people with two using the sofa bed in the living room. Set in large mature gardens alongside the canal and river it is ideal for walking, cycling, canoeing and exploring the local area, or just watching the boats go by!

The gardens are suitable for children and are fully fenced, a play area is situated opposite the house and can be viewed from the garden. Using a tent in the garden can enhance accommodation and add to the fun, especially for teenagers. A three man tent is at the house.

There is ample parking for several cars.

Accommodation

On entering the house you will go straight into the combined kitchen, lounge, diner. A fitted kitchen provides all the necessary appliances and utensils. The lounge is furnished with a settee which converts into a comfortable double bed with little effort. A TV, DVD player, English satellite and video are all installed. The bathroom has a modern basin and shower unit.

The spacious master bedroom has double patio doors which open out onto the garden overlooking the river. It also has a folding bed single for  extra accommodation and there is a travel cot.

Additional Information

The garden is suitable for children and has has a secluded patio area, table, with parasol, chairs with cushions are provided, also 2 sun loungers and 2 mountain bikes. There is a BBQ for outside meals you shall enjoy. Many sunlit evenings can be spent trying out the large range of burgundy wines, there is an English speaking wine wholesaler in the town its self and a fantastic local market on a Saturday.
